Lester Development Inc., as a construction development company, is founded in 2016. The management team of the Lester Development is almost same as U.I.D Development which is a construction development company based on Waterloo region formed in 2012. After success of two projects, the management team decided to start their own business. Therefore, they formed Lester development Inc for U Style project.
The team start their first step in investigating the real estate market since 2008. During the researching time, the management team realized its long-term vision and further destination, so the team chose Waterloo Ontario be the first station of its growing path, and established in 2012. Then they found the investor and founded U.I.D Development Inc. At the time, the management team only have minority shares, and the investor hold majority share. In August 2012, as a general contractor, U.I.D. development began its first project as a student apartment building, located in 18 James St, Waterloo. A 9-storey building, with 150 bedrooms, and totally 30 units. This building will be fully furnished with excellent conditions of furniture and appliances, which made our building so popular in this area, and it created a myth that it was100% rent out within 3 months. We treat this achievement as the biggest payback for our passion and hard-working on the project. It also confident us to continue our journey, and go further in real estate development market. During this project, we successfully reinforce project management team, including Site Super, Project Manager, Project Coordinator, also build up the back-end office to give the project full support, not only the shop drawings management, but also the full accounting support. We believe we can carry on this success and experience to a new project. Therefore, the management team start to plan its first condo project in Waterloo, Canada, which is named K2, a 2-tower condominium with totally 189 units. This project is in located at 158 King St. Waterloo, where is close to the Wilfrid Laurier University and uptown Waterloo. The high-end with 19 Stories, will make it a new landmark in Waterloo. The condominium is occupied in fall of 2017. Now it will be final closing on the beginning of 2018. The success of K2 project provide that our team have enough ability and knowledge to complete our next Project. We also learned the lesson for K2 project, so we believe we can avoid and handle a lot of trouble for next project. On 2016, the team found an opportunity as their third project. Because this project is a related small project, so the team want to take this chance and get majority share. Therefore, our team found Lester Development Inc. for our third project, U Style condominium.
